So tonight is my fourth night recovering from tonsilitis; I've been on a heavy course of anti-biotics and am to remain on them until wednesday (or thursday?). My Family have gone out to see my aunties who are visiting my nan for the first time in ages. It's been over a year now since i last saw them and, alas, I will have to wait even longer due to my sickness. Atleast I will be all well before my birthday.
The day before yesterday I discovered the RX Bandits; after listening to their newest album titled "Mandala" I was starstruck. After listening to the tracks, I then text my friends saying check this new band out that I've just found but to my embarrasment it turns out that they've been round for ages!
I love the refreshing feeling of finding a new band that you can't stop listening to but what I regret is that I wish I would find bands like this much sooner, but then again atleast I have the pleasure now. Another thing that I found gutting was that their album Mandala was available for digital downlad on amazon.com for $2.99 but being I can't buy it because I live in England. Disgrace.
I'm going up to Guitar Village in Farnham next tuesday to find a new amp for my 18th, I'm really excited to be going up there and just trying out amazing amps, beautiful pedals and the odd guitar here and there.
It's been 8 months now and it's been great :) The start of many more to come! She knows what I mean.
